How come there is no Big Thunder Mountain merchandice?

You know how some Magic Kingdom attractions like Splash Mountain & Space Mountain have sell shirts & sweathshirts, well I was wondering how come I have never seen that type of merchandice for Big Thunder Mountain? I know they have pins for this attraction, but that seems to be it. So what are your thoughts?

During our last trip in august BTMR was one of dd7's favorite ride - one day we rode it 7 times! I really wanted to find her a t-shirt or SOMETHING for her to remember the trip and we looked all over the place and found NOTHING. I asked several CM's and none of them knew why there wasn't merchandise.....unless I completely missed something.

Must be one of WDW's mysteries...

Probably because it was built before they realized what a gold mine they had by emptying an attraction into a gift shop. Those are the ones that have merchandise.

Soarin didn't have any merchandise until recently. They don't have a gift shop.

Let's not give Disney any ideas, the last thing we need is another ride getting shortened for a gift shop.

I bought a pull back and go BTMRR train at the Splash Mountain gift shop within this last year. Splash Mountain also has a similar toy. It does a good job at passing the time at work
