We are planning an oct trip and wanted to know how cold/hot it is then. Can we expect rain or not? Thanks :goodvibes

October
Average high temperature: 84.6
Average low temperature: 65.8
Average precipitation: 2.42
Average humidity (1pm): 56
Record high (1986): 95
Record low (1989): 44

It's still pretty hot during the day, but it will get cool very quickly when the sun goes down. It's the end of hurricane season, so while it's not usually very rainy, it has the potential to be.

It wont be scorching hot like it is during the summer, all though it can be. Nights can get a bit chilly, but since its a tropical state it will rain at some point during your trip.

Thanks, also which of the 4 parks are better for teens and adults? Thanks :goodvibes

Early, Mid, or Late October? They can all be different:goodvibes

We were there the last week of Oct last fall...and it was in the mid-to-high 90's every. single. day.

We about melted. Even though I know it wasn't typical weather, that experience alone will keep me to the winter months or very early spring for trips.

Anywhere from a low of 35F to a high of the lower 90's. I have seen both. Usually the weather is pleasant. This past October was very warm. You never know.

WOW we are going the first week of oct. Thanks for the park recommendations. :goodvibes

We will have 4 boys and a girl. ages from 19 to 13..plus us their parents. LOL

What I was thinking is going to just the parks that we would enjoy and avoid the ones that are for the little ones. Mainly so that we can plan at least one day staying at the resort and playing there. :goodvibes

Thanks all.

We've been in WDW the past two years during the first week in October. October 2009 was miserably hot. Last year was also hot, but it was more bearable. It was also more crowded last year, due to so many school systems in the south having Fall Break that week.

I don't think you should limit yourself to only the parks you think teens and adults would like. I'm an adult and LOVE Magic Kingdom, but to some, this might be considered for small children. Some of the most iconic rides for Disney are in MK - Pirates of Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, It's a Small World, etc. It you can get to all the parks - do! There's something in each park that will appeal to you - rides, shows, entertainment. When you're at WDW, everyone gets to feel like a child!

I was there in Oct, 2004, I think... right after the big hurricane... Many days were 100 degrees. I remember being in Animal Kingdom, and one of the Disney crew told me it was 103 degrees that day. But the whole week was 95+.

When DH and I have the chance to go back to a park at night without our little children, we ALWAYS go to Magic Kingdom....There are the big three there, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain! :thumbsup2

Not to mention all of the iconic attractions like "small world, pirates of the caribbean, and buzz lightyear"

Thanks I am think that MK, Epcot, and Hollywood would be the best. Now about AK is that mainly animals there or are the rides good and how many rides? thanks.

We've been in early and mid October a few times...it is HOT. Or at least, it was HOT when we were there.

I thought you've been before. :confused3
No I have not been and I am trying to plan a good vaca for my family like everyone else. I am just asking general questions so I don't know why you are assuming things that I clearly have not said. This is the second time you have said something on the rude side so please if you can help me and answer my questions feel free but if you are jus7t going to be rude please do not respond. Thank you and I and asking very nicely. Have a great day :goodvibes
