How cold are the restaurants?

Curious... do the restaurants (and even the shows) tend to be on the cool side? My daughter is working on her wardrobe... are 3/4 or long sleeves going to be warm, or more likely appropriate for the restarants? Would she be better off with short sleeves?

This is for the Eastern cruise in November.

Thanks....

Paul

In my experience, the restaurants and the theatre tend to be on the cool side! On formal night on our Western cruise, I wore a "ladies tux" and was glad of the jacket! On other occassions, particularly in the Walt theatre, I shivered a little! But then again, if it's a deck party night, you're gonna be warm so back to the stateroom to change! For me, that's part of the fun - any excuse to change outfits and justify my over-packing!!!!!!!!

I prefer to dress in layers as I do not enjoy changing clothes and missing out on the fun on deck. I pack short sleeved blouses and dresses and a coverup of some sort for each night. Often the same coverup is used for several outfits. Mix and match. I carry the long sleeved shirt-jacket when on deck and put it on in the restaurants and shows (sometimes even in the elevators).

Have a wonderful cruise!

At the Nassau party, do people stay dressed up from their dinner or change into more informal clothes? Can anyone tell me some details about the party? Thanks!

I didn't find the restaurant unusually cold but they were a little chilly- especially on uncovered slightly sunburned skin:smooth: . I took a white and a black light weight cardigan type sweater just in case I got a little chilly. There were a few nights I was glad I had them. They didn't take up much room in the suitcase and went with just about everything (except formal) I brought for the dining rooms.

I am one of those people who is always cold and I was fine in the restraunts, but i was cold in the theater. I would recomend bringing a sweater. Layers are good becuase if you walk out side it is hot (but then I was on board in August) Also I had early dinner so a lot of time people changed before the show.
