how close will we be?

Can anyone give me their experience with the following. We have a 2 bedroom at SSR AND a studio at SSR for a week in Aug. It is our family, my BIL's family in the 2 br and my MIL and FIL in the studio. The studio is a HA because FIL is an amputee and needs a roll in shower. So here is my question, How likely is it that we will be in the same building? (We requested the Springs because FIL needs to be close to the food area) We would be happy with even being in the same section.What has your experience been when having a group staying togehter but in seperate rooms?

Have you added the request to be near each other to both reservations? I can;t speak for SSR, but at OKW when making nearby requests we have either been a) stacked, in the unit directly above our guests, b)in adjacent building, but still very convenient to each other c)same building and floor, but opposite ends or d)right next door to each other.

It really depends upon what the configuration is of the buildings, and what rooms the hae vacant at the time. I know that OKW will often block rooms to be near each other, thus meeting the request as best they can. I think that your units will be convenient, but probably not next to, each other. Very likely in the same building.

We already requested on both ressies. I was just wondering how likly we were to be close. As long as we are in the same section we will be ok.

Since you've already made the request, you're set for now. When you check in, you can politely remind them of the request (it wouldn't hurt to throw in your reason) and also state that you are in no rush to get into your villas. My guess is you will be able to get pretty close to each other.

We had the same situation last August. The studio was right across the hall from the 2 bedroom. This was in the Springs section as well. I think they try their best to get you close.
