How close together can you make reservations?

Planning on doing a swap tonight and we have another dinner reservation about 20 minutes before. I don't want to cancel the old reservation until I know I definitely can get the new one. How close together can you make dining reservations?

It will actually remind you that you have an ADR and ask if you want to cancel the first one. you will not lose either one while you're working on the most current ADR.
I believe there needs to be 2 hours between each.

If the ADR is not in your name and not linked on your MDE then it won't even show up.
If it's on your MDE account and ypu have privileges to make and cancel ADRs, then it will show up and you'll have to cx the first one in order to obtain the second.
EXCEPT... if all the parties are sharing an account and doing 2 separate ADRs (say 4 adults going to 2 different restaurants for dinner), then I've actually had to call to get it straightened out. (we went to BOG while DGS and fiance went to CRT last year - had to straighten it out over phone so we could indeed get BOG for same time slot)

I was able to book them 45 minutes apart. When I was waiting on final park hours to be posted I had a day with a 7:30 Tusker House and a 6:45 Biergarten ADRs on my account at the same time.
When there is another account in play, we had them 15 mintues apart. Same situation, waiting for park info to post and we had an 8:15 H&V on my husbands account and an 8am CP on mine.

My sister in law booked it. Our accounts are linked. We are in different room. Not sure if I have the ability to cancel.

The weird thing is, the ressie isn't showing up on my app but is on the computer...

As far as the computer is, I find that happens often (at least in my case) on my account. MDE on my phone may show up differently than MDE on a desktop. Weird, I know.
So try for your new ADR and see if ypu can do one without cancelling the other.
