My TA said I need to add disney dining 7 days before I arrive and can not add after that date .Is she right? I find that hard to believe. I am 6 days from and want to add it.

I think I read that it is a shorter period, maybe 5 days. Ask her to call and check (insist!).

In order to add the Dining Plan you have to coordinate the activities a couple of offices, most notably, your travel agent's office. While, if you didn't use a travel agent, you perhaps could have added the Dining Plan five days, or even three days, prior, since your travel agent needs to make the change, you're subject to linking up with your travel agent, and then you travel agent linking up with Disney, before the reservations are taken out of CRO's control. Once the reservations are turned over to the front-desk at your hotel, it is too late.

If you had booked through Disney, unless things have changed, you have 72 hours/3 days prior to check-in. Through a TA/AAA, I have no idea what the limit is or how they determine it. (CRO = Room Only; WDTC = packages, which includes the DDP)
