How close is the Premium Outlet Mall?

We leave on Thursday for a very last minute trip to Orlando - pland are to stay 5 nights I Drive/LBV, 4 nights at the coast and then the last 5 nights at WDW. I've come across a great rate for the Fairfield Inn at Marriott Village with Octopus Travel - £37.50 per night about $57 including all taxes and wonder as I'm a total shopoholic just how close the Premium Outlet Mall is? Would we be able to walk to it or do you really need a car?

Not exactly sure how far but ...find a way to get there I love it.

The used to run a shuttle bus. According to the hotels website it's .5 miles. If you're planning to buy stuff you might at least take a cab back.
