How close is parking deck to parks?

Is it close enough where one could plan to return to the car and stow fleeces, long pants etc. after it gets warmer later in the day? We are going next week and I am trying to prepare for coolish mornings and pleasant afternoons.

It can take 10-30 mins to get to your car from the parks, depending on how far from the gate you are, how fast you walk, and where you parked. Your best bet would to bring a backpack to stuff your fleeces in.

Depends on how many kids are going. If you are just two adults, then yes, you can walk back to the car, have a few drinks from a cooler, change cloths, and come back.
If you're dragging kids, it will tire them out.

Not to mention having to wait in line to get back into the parks. Just take a backpack, most rides will let you take them on, and the ones that wont there are lockers they provide, free of charge usually.

There are also fairly large lockers available at the entrances to both parks for a $10.00 daily fee. You can get in and out of the locker as often as you need to.
