How Can You Tell You're Getting Old?

When I find myself saying that we stayed out late last night, and by late, I mean 9:00 p.m. We didn't even used to leave to go out until about that time!

When you look at the calendar and think it's a week later than it really is..

When the word "fiber" becomes a part of your every day conversations..

When you say something is "neat" and your DGD rolls her eyes and tries to stifle a laugh..

When you drive to the store in your slippers - because you never have a need to put shoes on anymore - so it just doesn't dawn on you..

When you're standing at the cash register and the 12 yr. old sales girl asks if you have your "senior discount" card with you..

When you realize many of your coworker have names like Lindsay, Brittany, Whitney, and Brendan.

This is so true. I work in HR and we have a lot of entry level positions. I am horrified to see all the Skylars, Calebs and Hannahs we hire. These are even after the Lindsays and Whitneys.
