How can you tell if MYW tickets expired or have no expiration date?

BIL is going to give us his MYW tickets he will not be using. (long story) How do we know if they will expire before we can get there or if they have no expiration date?

You won't be able to use MYW tickets that were used by another person. They are linked by biometrics, plus his name will probably be on the ticket.

But if he did not use them already, just ask him how long and what type they are.

He hasn't used them yet (no biometrics - purchased through Yahoo travel) and he can't tell (wouldn't know this from that anyway) what type they are They are in a MYW folder and they have his trip dates on them. Wants to give them to us in case we can get there when his trip was planned. Again, how do we know if they are the no expiration type or not?

My MYW ticket has "no expiration" printed on the back.

If they are MYW tickets, it should say on the back.

For instance, mine say:

8 Day Park Hopper
Ages 10+
Expires 14 days from first use

As they have not yet been used they will not expire before your arrival.

I purchased 10 day MYW hopper tickets with plus and no expiration in early January. There was no question I had the right tickets because this was printed on the back: 10 DAY PARK HPR W/5 MPP VISITS AGES (10+)

It doesn't matter. If they've never been used, they don't expire. The expiration thing comes in 10 days after the first use (unless they say "No Expiration").
So, if he hasn't used them at all, you can use them at any time (or he can save them for a future trip).
