How can this be??? Southwest Airlines

I am in Midland TX. We could drive the two hours to Lubbock, but the flights from there are not nearly as good as the ones we use to have from Midland. We may just have to use our free tickets for another fun trip to somewhere SWA does fly to.

That could work and be fun too. :)

If you go to airlines websites, there's usually an option for them to watch fares from your home airport, and E-Mail you when there's any kind of special. I've found some great fares that way.

Unfortunately not on SWA. You can, however, sign up for their weekly email.

I know Southwest doesn't offer that. But I do it with other airlines in case Southwest doesn't have any decent fares when I need them.

Yep, they sure do. I only mentioned that SWA does not because I did not want people going nuts trying to find the way to do it. :) Delta is one of them. BTW, what can you tell me about the new Senaca casino?

I had reservations for 3 leaving upstate NY on Feb. 2nd and returning on Feb. 11th. I just had to cancel and rebook and couldn't get anything decent in March or anytime in April until the 26th.

So - we're booked for departure April 26th and returning on May 5th.. This is NOT my ideal time to go to WDW but I couldn't get anything else and had to do SOMETHING before the tickets ran out in August. Had to pony up an extra $27, but I did manage to get $99 each on one leg and $112 each on the other..

Sure wish I had changed them earlier.............:(

Just flew home an hour ago on NWA and signed on to check SWA's site and booked my Easter flights down. It still is cheaper for me to fly DH and myself down on SWA for $742 than it was to take NWA at over $800.

Besides, right now I KNOW I have a seat on SWA and if the fares go down, I will be requesting a voucher for a later flight.

I have the same problem. Going 4/21 to 4/25. USAir is running $367! Every flight combination! The 4/25 return is the problem. I looked at the seating chart online and almost every seat is empty on the 7:15pm return. If we return Monday 4/26 it's like $215. I really believe it will come down, there's no way they are selling many seats at that price. This happened to me another time when we went in May. It was really high and then one night in February it dropped to $187 and I booked it. Keep checking!
