How can my husband and I both make G+ reservations for our children?

My husband and I are taking our three children (ages 11, 13, and 15) to WDW next month. I have had a lot of difficulties getting our kids linked to him to show up in his friends and family list. Finally, they do show up, but they all say, "Plans Managed by ElsasFan." I did a little test run as though he was making a lightning lane reservation to see if they would show up as individuals he could make the reservation for, but only he and I were listed.

I looked some more at the FAQ on the Disney website and if I am reading it correctly, only the person who sets up the profile for a child under 13 can make plans for that child. Is that correct? Surely there's a way to share it with the other person. If I am reading it correctly, if I set up a Disney account for the older two (you have to be 13 to have a Disney account), then they would be able to accept the request to connect and he could manage for them. Is that right? (Although, if there's no way for him to make plans for our youngest, it's pointless for him to make plans for the older ones.)

Is the simplest thing just for him to log in to my MDE profile? Will that work, if we are in the parks and both making plans on the same account from our own phones? If so, would one of us be able to purchase ILL at 7:00 a.m. while the other reserves the first LL reservation, or would we need to have one of us do it and prioritize?

Thanks for any info you can provide.

If you can manage everyone on your account, then just use that! You can definitely both be logged in under your account, on 2 separate phones, and have one person doing G+ while the other does ILL.

On the website, log into your friends and family and check the settings for your kids. I have it set so that my husband manages all plans and not just shared plans. screenshot.png

I had this problem with our granddaughter and daughter-in-law. Their names showed up but I could not make plans. I called the number that showed up on the friends and family page and they connected us all to each other with no problem
