I just received some pins acquired through eBay. How can I tell if they're "authentic"? I'd hate for my kids to be turned down due to inferior pins. Thanks!

The Disney logo meaning what? Mickey ears? half of them have that. Some of the others say Disneyland Resort then the copyright symbol and the Disney. Those just have a round black back while the other have the black mickey head back. The seller has almost 700 feedbacks, all positive. Will I be able to trade the pins without the mickey head logo?

Many pin traders won't trade for pins without the Mickey head logo but as long as there is a copyright of some sort and a Disney or Disney park logo, they should be "official" pins. Traders who are just collecting pins or looking for pins of favorite characters or whatnot will be fine with any pins, regardless of backing.

Any pin without any information on the back -- no logo, copyright, etc -- probably won't get you many offers.
