My wife & I are planning a trip with another couple who are long time Disney veterans. They belong to the Vacation Club and have been going to WDW at least twice for the past 10 years. Could anyone give me an idea of what I could do for a nice surprise to make our trip with them extra special? I have done Gifts of a Lifetime for my wife and was not overly happy with what I got for what I spent, so I don't want to go that direction.
Thanks in advance for any help.:earsboy:

Have they ever done an Illuminations cruise? If not, I'd try to book one - we did it this past February, and it was well worth the money.

Hate to suggest something outside WDW, but I know if my wife was asking someone this question, I'd desperately hope this answer would come up!

Emeril Lagasse has opened a new restaurant at Universal, in the Royal Pacific Hotel. It is highly rated and judging by the special I saw on TV, some major work went into the architecture. It's called Tchoup Chop (pronounced 'chop chop'). The web site:

i agree with the emeril suggestion. my husband has eaten at several of his restaurants in florida and new orleans and the experience doesn't seem to compare with any other restaurant. i haven't made it to one of the restaurants yet but it sure seems like a memorable experience. hopefully next time we get to florida i can join that "club".
