How Can I Replace Broken Merchandise?

I'm not sure where to post this thread but I hope this is the right place. I just returned last Friday, 8/18 and had purchased a bracelet. I just went to put it on today and it broke! Of course now I can't find the receipt as I remember paying cash for it, it was $16.00, but I have the tag that was on the receipt. I really like this bracelet but what do I do now?

Would appreciate any advice.

If you have the UPC, call WDW maill order mdse. - off the top of my head I think it's 407-363-6200 but double check me as I know it's on the board here somewhere - they should send you out a new one (they did this for me once). They may ask that you send the other one back.

Thanks so much MinnieGirl33!!!! I'm so happy now.

I can't find my receipt but I just cut off the tag today so I have that. I had a feeling when I bought it that it could break because it's one of those bracelets on a stretch cord but I really liked it so I thought I would chance it. I even tried it on a few times in the store before I bought it and it had been fine.

I'll give them a call and I hope they can send it to me. I have no problem mailing this to them.

MinnieGirl33----I just wanted to thank you again for the phone number. I called them and they are sending me a replacement bracelet. I told them I didn't have my receipt but I had the tag and she asked for the UPC code and then asked that I describe the bracelet (I guess to verify I wasn't lying) and just asked if I could fax her any receipt showing I was just in Disney which I had plenty of but unfortunately not for the bracelet.

I always know I can count on you guys for help!!!!

That's so funny I was wondering the same about you! :goodvibes

I'm in Pennsauken (next to Cherry Hill, exit 4).

MinnieGirl33-I know exactly where you are but your far from me. What a small world!!

I wonder how long it will take to get my bracelet. Do they usually send them right out?

My son had a necklace that broke shortly after we got home from our last trip and also a mission space space shuttle toy that never worked. We got it for my son for his birthday and didn't realize it was broke until we got home and opened it out of the box. Disney gladly sent us a new toy AND necklace -no questions asked. We faxed them a copy of the receipts and that was all they needed. We didn't have to send back the defective merchandise or anything! It took about 3 weeks or so to receive the new stuff. They package everything SO nicely too! We also had a t-shirt we bought that was too small, they let us mail it back for an exchange. We had to pay $6.50 or something for shipping for that one, but no biggie! Disney is SO good when it comes to returns/exchanges. :thumbsup2

It might take a few weeks but it shouldn't be too long.

I lived in Pennsauken until age 10 when we moved to Medford. I now live in Marlton. It is a small world!

OK, I grew up in Marlton, lived in Mt. Laurel when we first got married & then moved to Pennsauken.

Too funny!

We lived in Mt. laurel when we first got married, too!

I am so jealous of my fellow Marlton residents right now because so many are going to Disney the first two weeks of September. Because of building renovations, our school district isn't opening until September 18th! I am a teacher in a town nearby and can't take the kids to Disney during that time!

Did you go to Cherokee? I graduated from Shawnee.

This happened to my DH a few years ago, we returned home and his watch was broken. The CM just asked for the UPC code and my info to ship it to me, he asked nothing about a receipt or said a word about shipping it back!! Good luck with that!
