My family is looking at options for our next disney vacation. We have always typically stayed at one of the All-Star Resorts for 6 or 7 days. This time though we have two weeks to spend in Disney from March 3-17, 2006.

So the simple question is how do I rent from a DVC member that is not using his/her points when we are not DVC members? :earsboy:

Just post the resort you'd like to stay in, the specific dates you'd like and the size villa you'd want on the Rent/Trade Board and see if a memebr can assist.

You can also respond to a post by a member offering to rent.

If you have questions about specific resorts or room types or other questions about renting, please ask those right here on the DVC Board.

Good luck!

At the top of this page is a points chart. You can figure out how many points it will cost for your days and size villa. There are some info threads on the rent board that can help too.

have fun!:)

It will be much lower of points to rent sunday thru thursday, weekend points are high. Rent these days and stay at Pops or one of the other value resorts on the weekend. It will save you a lot. :Pinkbounc

Read the FAQs at the top of the Rent/Trade board. They will help a lot. Remember that this is an agreement between you and the DVC member. Disney is not involved in any way. The member will set the requirements, you will either agree or not. If you don't, counter the member and see if you can change their mind. If not, find another member to rent from.

Cancelling or changing the reservation may not be possible. So get your dates and location firm before you get the reservation.
