It's everywhere surrounding my stove!
I started with my cooking utensil holder. I tried Dawn then white vinegar and it only seems to move it around because it's still sticky!

If it's that really gunky, time-hardened stuff all I can ever think of to do is scrub hard with soapy water and something abrasive like scouring powder. Can you put some of the pieces in super-hot water to soak? That would definitely help.
I think the Greased Lightening-Orange Blast- Super Strength Cleaner & Degreaser works really well on grease. I buy it at Walmart and it's about 3.50 a bottle. It's worth a try!
Good luck!

LA's Totally Awesome products at Dollar Tree, just read the reviews! Today we actually used this on all our cabinets, door trims and baseboards. I also started using their lavender floor cleaner with good results.
Original product (I use this on my cabinets above the stove, etc)
