How can I guarantee we'll see Buzz?

The child eats, sleeps & breaths Buzz Lightyear. When I was there last (a lifetime ago it seems) I NEVER saw Buzz but then again it was for DD & we were on the lookout for princesses....

Is there a place we can go to meet Buzz & get an autograph? Character dining?

We have found Buzz in Tomorrowland. If you ask at the info booth off Main Street, they can tell you which characters will be out, when, and where. The first time we went to DL, my oldest son was only 19 months. He could barely talk, but he could say "Buzz"! We danced with Buzz, but he wasn't doing autographs. He went off stage, and came back within 10 minutes. When Buzz came back, he went in the opposite direction! So we stalked Buzz through Tomorrowland, until he signed ds' autograph book. It was soo cute. When he was dancing at Club Buzz and not doing autographs, my ds kept grabbing his autograph out of the stroller basket and running up to Buzz. Ds caught on to the concept of an autograph book really quickly!

Check the daily Entertainment Times Guide that you pick up when you enter the park. Buzz's scheduled appearances in Tomorrowland are usually listed there. For example, I have the Guide from a few weeks ago (Sept. 4-6), and it lists his times as 10:00AM, 11:00AM, 12:00, 2:45, 3:45, and 4:45PM.

Because I tend to hit Tomorrowland several times a day, I am always running into Buzz without even trying.

I would use the times guide too. We weren't actually looking for him, but he was right there when we came out of BLAB.

The entertainment guide is the key. He comes out from an area between the Space Mountain exit and the arcade. It is also a pathway to restrooms. We saw him there the last time and he stopped to shake one of our little ones hands who could not go on Space Mountain. It was adorable!!! Good luck on your search. You will prevail!

We ran into him without trying on our first day (and saw him randomly last year as well), but the timing did go along with what the entertainment guide said.

We were told later that he stays where it is cool. So when we saw him, he was standing near-ish that rocket thing near Space Mountain, in a shady spot. They also said he hangs out at the exit of SM, which we avoided with DS b/c of that arcade, and pretty much anywhere there is a cooler spot for him to stand.

Guess he's not used to the atmosphere on earth yet, eh?
