I, DH, DS (13), and DS (8) will be staying at POP. We always use Disney Trasportation to get around. Our next trip we want to go to Universal and Seaworld as well. Is there any way for us to get there with out renting a car? I know we could take a taxi, does anyone have an idea of what that would cost? Thanks in advance to any help.

ok this is going to sound stupid, because i really don't remember how to get there but i can tell you that it wont be hard, trust me i am a alandmark driver and driving the FL area was so easy

I have never done this, but I have read here on the DIS boards that you can use Orlando Public Transit. I think that you can to to TTC and get the lynx bus to Sea World (I read that in a post on 05/05/05 by nibab4). I am not sure if they go to Universal, but if they can take you to Sea World why wouldn't they also swing by Universal? I am sure someone here has used this service and can either confirm or deny it. If not, maybe Orlando Public Transit has a website that can tell you for sure. You might also check out the Universal/Sea World board her on the DIS. Good luck and have a super trip!

I think I have read that Mears can take you there from Disney resorts. I would look on their website (I assume they have one). Personally, if I were to do both parks, I would rent a car for a couple of days. You can pick up a National car right at the Dolphin.

Ok, get the resort bus to MK then the monorail to the TTC. From there catch a no. 50 Lynx bus and it will take you to the trolley stop that is just outside Seaworld.
From there, if you want to go to US, catch the I-ride north to stop 4a and US is across the road, 5-10 minutes walk. Alternatively get off at Wet n Wild and you can catch a Lynx right to US, but i dont know which number bus you need, sorry!
Another option would be to take the i-ride to Belz factory outlets then get a taxi the rest of the way (should be around $7) ....less expensive than a taxi from WDW!!

Hope this helps

Last year we took Meers from the Poly to Seaworld. It picked us up first, stopped at Shades of Green and then on to Seaworld. I am sorry, but I can not remember how much it was. I do remember that we had to tell them what time we wanted to be picked up at Seaworld. They told us where to wait and to be there at x time. The three of us were there, as well as about fifteen other people, all waiting for the same van it seems. Since the van was late, and we were all fairly intelligent people able to do the math, we all figured out that someone was not getting on the van. Sure enough, the van pulled up, and about half the people got left behind. As we got on, I really don't know how or if the remaining people had to wait long.

Yes, I would use the service again, I just think that the next time I would tell them to pick us up at say 1:20 or 2:40 instead of 2:00.

WOW! that is a lot of really great info. Thank you all soooo much, it helped me a bunch.
