How can I get the sand out of DD's bathing suit?

Then entire butt liner of her suit is filled with sand from our beach day today. Any tip/tricks on getting it out?

Well I got this tip from the cruise boards. Definitely works for skin cause I've tried it. No harm in trying with the suit. Sprinkle baby powder on the suit and then dust it off. This works exceptionally well with getting sand off feet, there's just something that attracts the sand to the powder i guess.

Worth a try when it dries out. I can't for the life of me figure out how it got IN since I can't get it out.

Yeah, baby powder! I second that idea! I used that trick once with both of my DD's suits after a day at the beach. It worked well!

OMG the baby powder worked. Tedious process, but it worked. Who knew I'd have to add baby powder to my beach bag for our vacation this summer?
