How Can I Get Sick at Disney? NOOOO!!!

1300 eggs!!!! Holy COW! The girls looked cute on Easter, and your cupcakes look yuuuummy!

I know right! She always goes ALL out for the kiddies. Thanks about the girls. Im going to dress them cute as long I can! Kendra starting to want to not wear dresses, so Im going to enjoy it as long as I can.
Ive been told they were yummy. I dont eat them, or Id eat them all! I have DH do a taste test. He's picky and if he likes them, then I know I did well. So far Ive always got the :thumbsup2 from him.

Last we left off, we had just met Sleeping Beauty. Who doesnt love meeting the princesses? Piper wanted to get her picture with the Beauty and The Beast Topiaries. It was so cute that they "matched".

Here's Piper:

She's such a ham when she wants to be!

Then we wandered around France enjoying all the little trinkets. I love the perfumes but they are always just too pricey for me to get. Im kind of a stickler for deals (aka means Im a clearance shopper!). We got the girls some Marie(Aristocats)coloring books w/stickers. They come in handy later @ lunch. Then we got Kendra's customary shot in front of the fountains in France.

report36.jpg

We then just walked on and stopped wherever we wanted, not in a rush. We explored Morroco and the girls had to get this pic b/c they love Aladdin:

report37.jpg

I think Kendra actually soaked up more on this trip to Epcot. She was interested in all the stores and different items. Hmm, maybe school is working? LOL! We then spotted this and of course she had to have me take a picture.

report38-1.jpg

We were getting a little warm and the girls spotted a kidcot station and got their names written on back and then proceeded to color Duffy. It was a nice chance to relax and cool off. On previous vacays we've always felt rushed. Not this trip. Plus I was feeling good but the heat can make anyone sluggish so I was trying not to push it too much.

Here are the girls coloring Duffy:

report39-1.jpg

Oops before we headed back over the bridge, here's a picture of Steve before he visited Japan.

report40.jpg

Finally it was time for our ADR @ Le Cellier! We usually eat around noon so 1:15pm is considered a late lunch for us and we were STARVING! Before we went in the girls wanted a picture

report30.jpg

We got there 10 minutes early and we seated around 1:30. Not too bad but when you have little ones it felt like an eternity. Plus, my stomach was making noises again and not the hungry sounds! Uh-oh!!! We were seated and the girls of course picked out their meals. I forgot what they ordered but they enjoyed it for the most part. Steve got a burger(my mind is blank) that he said was really good. Here's the sad part: I was all set to get a burger also but my stomach was not behaving. So I ordered the cheese soup and get this, I had 3 bites and munched on a pretzel breadstick. I couldnt take much more. I know, what a waste!!! Oh well, it was enjoyable. Then the best part of any meal came = DESSERT!!! I had told the girls before we got there that they had 2 kinds that I think they'd enjoy: The Chocolate Moose and the S'more. Of course, we got both!!

Here they are and they were so gooodd! I tried them both and they were great!

report41.jpg

report42.jpg

We finished and decided we would head back to the POP and rest so we could come back that evening and finish looking at the topiaries and of course, eat at Via Napoli.

Enjoying your report - your kids are adorable!

Oh, I feel so bad for you being sick at Disney! What a trooper you are for keeping on going even through feeling yucky.

Love your husband's shirt - GO DUCKS! :donald:

Thanks, it did suck. But when @ WDW ya gotta push through it.

He loves the shirt too, along w/all the other ducks shirts he owns. My aunt and uncle live in Vancouver WA and are big ducks fans. We've had the pleasure to go out there 2x in the past 1 1/2 years. Its beautiful. My brother calls it God's Country. The Pacific is awesome. The Atlantic here is plain in comparison.

Enjoying this report muchly! :) We're going in a few weeks so it's doubly appreciated. ;)

What is the moose's tongue made of? I hesitate to speculate!

Really enjoying your report! I feel like I'm reading how "the other side lives" cause I have a 6-year old and 3-year old also - but boys! Your girls are such cuties. Seeing their little princess dresses makes me look forward to our next trip, cause we just found out we're having a girl this fall!

My husband was very sick during our 09 trip, but luckily it was "respitory" and not a stomach bug. That would be the worst. Though he did end up visiting a nearby urgent care and finding out he had fluid in his lungs. I was glad we were in a FW cabin, cause he ended up sleeping separately from me and the boys most nights due to his coughing fits. Poor guy!

Also, you made an excellent choice NOT drinking Beverly on a sour stomach. My brother chugged the whole dixie cup on a dare on our last trip, and ended up burping Beverly for several hours. He says it's worse coming up than going down! :rotfl:

Still, everyone should try it once, just to say you have!

No problem! I wish I could remember what the tongue was made of, I think it was a cracker or something. Couldnt have been too bad b/c DH ate it. popcorn::

Congrats on your baby!! Girls are the greatest! You can dress them up and do their hair and such!! They go back and forth being Daddy's girls and Mommy's girls. Whatever there mood is that day...hmmm yup they're future women! LOL!

DH and the girls had bad chest congestion in February before me and Dh went on vacay. Poor mil had to take care of sick kids and poor DH had to fly 5 hours with a chest cold. Good thing I brought ear plugs b/c he couged my ear off! Then when we got to the Pacific Northwest the difference in altitude and weather etc really set him off. It was a fun trip! :rotfl2:

Even if I hadnt been sick I dont think I would've tried the Beverly. Im slowly starting to try new things food/drink wise but I will wait on that one. Some things still give me the willies!! Im trying to change that so the girls try more. They're pretty adventurous like the DH but Im getting there! :goodvibes

How sad to not be able to eat at Le Cellier!

Your pictures with the topiaries are precious. I love it when the kids get into having pictures taken and smile. :goodvibes

Your Easter basket cupcakes are cute. What are the handles made of?

I know! I looked forward to that ADR when DH told me that we were eating lunch there! Oh well, maybe next time.

The girls loved the topiaries. I think it added to their excitement b/c they've been multiple times and this was new and looked their fave characters.

The handles were made of edible "grass" that tasted like sour green apple. Its amazing what they can make edible nowadays.

Uh-Oh. Sickness again. And you've got the right idea to dress the girls how you want them for as long as you can. My youngest DD is 11 and has outgrown the "pick out my clothes mommy" stage. IT STINKS!

I know! Just when I thought I was feeling better! I think its cute how they "coordinate". I dont match them down to the last detail so they feel too silly though. Kendra wants to start dressing from that Justice store @ our mall. Ummm...its a little too mature for her I think. Im not ready for the booty shorts and off the shoulder shirts. Cant that wait til she's 14? :lmao:

Yeah, fortunately for me and unfortunately for my DD, I couldn't afford much at Justice. I would go in there every once in a while and hit the clearance, but that's pretty much it. I can't begin to spend $35 on a pair of jeans that they aren't going to fit into in 4 mos. My daughters thing now is Aero, but when she was little I hit up some resale shops and was able to get the Justice/Ltd 2 stuff at a LOW price. :thumbsup2 My sister and I are 2 yrs apart and my mom would dress us in the same style/print just different colors. Anyway, it's much easier to have a boy. My DS17 wears athletic pants and t-shirts everyday. It's a wonderful thing!!!

We do the clearance also unless there is a sale or my mom decides to get something for her. Gap has good clearance and sales also. We try to wait til GA's tax free holiday weekend before school starts and then we hit the mall of GA where they have good sales. We are a fan of Crazy 8's (cheaper brand of Gymboree).

When I coordinate them I try to let Kendra pick out something then find an outfit for Piper. That way K doesnt feel like its too babyish(her words).

Last we left off, we had finished our lunch @ Le Cellier(well, my fam had finished I had picked @ my lunch due to my stomach issues) and were heading back to the POP. So our bus ride was uneventful back to the hotel, except for the guy giving Piper dirty looks ahead of us in the seats on the bus. She was behaving and just carrying on a conversation w/her Duffy fan and he just kept turning around and giving her dirty looks. Umm, Sir she's not kicking your seat, she's not having a tantrum, she's entertaining her self - so what's your problem? Who knows, who cares. Anyways, we got back to the POP and we all laid down for a much needed nap. Ahhh it felt nice. The thing is, is that we got back later than planned b/c lunch took awhile so our rest pd wouldnt be long. After an hour, I sat straight up and just decided that I wanted to get ready and so I did. I then woke everyone up(there was a lot of groans, but then I mentioned pizza and that got them all moving).

At this point I was feeling great. The best I had since getting sick. I was so excited to get back to Epcot. Maybe it was catching b/c the girls started bouncing around and were ready to go too.

Here's Kendra waiting for the bus to Epcot:

report58.jpg

She's too cute!

So we got to Epcot and the girls had to get their pic @ the front of the park w/the TS3 characters.

report43-1.jpg

Plus it smelled good like Strawberries.

Then we went on the big "golf" ball ride, as the girls call it. They love that ride.

Then Kendra spotted Mickey and the gang:

report45.jpg

report44.jpg

We headed towards the World Showcase b/c we had a 7pm ADR @ Via Napoli in Italy. We kept getting distracted though by the topiaries and of course I had to take their pics w/them! That's what I do best!

Here's Pooh:
disney27.jpg

Here's the Lion King:
report59-1.jpg

Of course, DH had to try and re-create it:
report60.jpg

We saw Snow White but it wont let me post so just use your imaginations!

Tangled/Rapunzel's Tower:
report62.jpg

That was new and the girls were so excited about that.

Finally we made it to Italy and checked in @ Via Napoli. The girls were hungry and this is them doing their "hungry" dance.

report63.jpg

Dinner was great as usual. We had the margarhita(sp?)pizza, I believe. We ate that up. The only thing is, is that after 2 pieces, I felt so full I was going to burst and not in a good way. This was the first meal I ate w/o feeling forced to eat just to eat. I think I overdid it though. Oh well. They then brought us out an anniversary dessert, which the girls helped themselves too!

report46.jpg

After we finished, the girls were happy to pose with the Lady & The Tramp Topiaries. Piper had just watched the movie for the first time when we were driving to WDW a couple of days before.

report64.jpg

We then just wandered arond and decided to wait for the fireworks/Epcot show. Forgive me for never remembering the names of their shows. DH and Piper hung around on the bench close to Germany and Kendra and I walked around. Here are a few pics:

report47.jpg

Kendra insisted on this picture this way.

disney29.jpg

Then it was time to head back to DH and Piper to get ready for the fireworks.

Here's Kendra playing the drums:

report66.jpg

report67.jpg

We enjoyed the fireworks as usual. It ended and it was time to leave. Boo!! I always get sad when its our last day/last park and I teared up. The traffic of people was not bad at all, at least compared to the night prior at MK. The monorail was another story. PACKED!! Im glad we drove that morning.

The girls waved goodbye to the "golf"ball and we headed to the car. I always get sad and tear up when we leave on our last day, especially this time.

We got back to the POP and didnt do any packing and just got in bed. We'd do that in the morning. The next morning, Friday we slept in. AHH! If 9am is sleeping in, then we did well, especially w/little kids. DH took the girls to swim while I packed and showered. DH didnt stay long b/c in his words, unchaperoned teens were causing trouble and not caring whether there were little kids in the pool or not. He felt it wasnt safe and they came back to the room. DH loaded the car and I got the girls dressed and it was time: Time to leave WDW, @ least the POP. Again, BOOOOO!

We decided to do DTD and EOS. It was great like I expected. We finally got in the car and left....along w/all the other tourists. The highway was clogged the whole ride home, especially in ATL due to road work. So it took us 11 hours instead of around 8 to get home. Let me tell you it was long!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Overall the trip was great. I say great b/c the weather was perfect, the girls and us had a a great time and we saw stuff we'd never seen before @ WDW (topiaries). I know I got sick and it did kind of put a damper on my spirit but I was bound and determined to have a good time and I did! Plus it gave me inspiration to write this report. :rotfl:

We dont know when we will be back though. DH and I feel we have gotten our fill of WDW for awhile. Our next trip we'd like to take and hope to do so next summer 2012 is England. The northern part of England close to the scottish border on the coast. We have friends there and we've never been overseas so it would be so cool! No kiddos of course! Fingers crossed that we save up enough $$$ .

Thanks ya'll for reading my trip report! Take care!! :cheer2:

Great wrap up to your TR. The last day is always bittersweet.;) Now I don't feel so bad about our 7-9 hour flight(s) home after you posted driving for 11 hours! Yikes!

Great pictures. Luckily for me DD11 will still want us to kind of match when I tell her we'll be doing PP pictures. Though she definitely has her own fashion sense. Check out the outfit she wore on our flight last year and walking around DTD the first night.;)

102_1256.jpg

So far, she's still likes to dress up, loves skirts!

I always get sad as if I didnt get to do enough even though we did so much. This trip though DH and I felt satisfied whereas other trips we both agreed that we had to come back to see "more". The trip home is usually fairly quick but it seemed like everyone from MI was going home that day. We'd get stuck @ 35mph for an hour or so and then we'd be back at normal speed. No construction or accidents either in those cases. We never found out why it was that way. Same for my cuz who drove home to MI the next day. They got stuck in the same places @ the same speed and nothing. Its a spring break conspiracy! LOL :rotfl:
DH goes along w/coordinating shirts @ WDW and even did the ears for our pic this time. He never wears his ears, but I think he felt bad that I was sick and was trying to cheer me up by going along w/my idea to match.
Thanks about the pics. There'd be more but photobucket was being fussy. :confused3

Awww, it's over already? Well, it was nice following along and "meeting" you and your family.

Yup, unfortunately! It was a short but sweet trip. Thanks for reading it ! Hopefully the next trip I take it'll be recorded and then written for everyone to enjoy. And it'll be longer!
