How Can I Get Sick at Disney? NOOOO!!!

I always love the faces of people after they taste that drink. LOL.

I didnt try it but I told him that everyone on the boards loved it and that he should try it. I think he knew it would taste funny b/c he knew I was setting him up in a way but I dont think he expected it to be nasty! At least he tried it though! :rotfl2:

I have not had it either but I might have to just to see what its like.

Maybe next time I will get the nerve or in my case stomach to try it! But that wont be for awhile. We wont be doing wdw for a couple years. DH and I are planning a trip (fingers crossed) to visit friends on the north west coast of England/scotland border next summer so that means $ !

I am enjoying your TR. Your girls are beautiful. You have a wonderful DH to plan such a great anniversary present! :lovestruc

I'm looking forward to more.

Thanks. It was a nice surprise from him. Im always telling him he needs to just surprise me b/c, well just b/c!

Last we left off we decided to head to the World Showcase our favorite part of Epcot! DH and I were impressed with all the flowers - they were so pretty and EVERYWHERE! See its the little things that impress us, lol! I saw this and had to have DH take a picture.

I was starting to feel a little better so I was getting more and more excited at what we saw. I dont know why maybe its because I was coming out of a fog. We stopped and explored the little F/G kiosks selling cute Mickey Gnomes but it was a little out of our souvenier range, oh well. Oh and everywhere we seemed to go the CM's kept giving the girls those Mickey head stickers. I am not a fan of stickers and where they end up - EVERYWHERE!! So DH started putting them on our Hello Kitty Backpack(from previous Epcot Visit bought in Japan)and it was a game to the girls how many we could get. I played along but I still didnt like them.

We headed towards Canada first since we had ADR's @ Le Cellier an 1 1/2 later and we just wandered on that side. We headed towards the UK and as always we loved it. I like the store where they have all the Beatles stuff and the girls love the candies and such. We have friends in NW England on the scottish border who sent them a ton of Cadbury chocolates, including Dairy Milks which they sell there. We forgot to buy some but that's okay, they'd had tons of sugar up to that point and after. They didnt remember and we didnt remind them either! I love the scarves in the shop that sells teas. Cant remember the name of that one either. Im so not good with names!

We spotted Peter Pan, Hook and the crocodile topiary and had to get a pick:

This was the first character topiary we had spotted besides TS3 @ the front of Epcot so that was fun. We then walked to the bridge leading to France and had our usual pic taken with the eiffel tower in back:

Then it happened! Kendra spotted Marie from the Aristocats and started running towards her. I was close behind follwed by DH and Piper and the stroller. It was a kind of funny scene.

Here's the girls and Marie:

That meeting was probably Kendra's fave of the day! Of course we then saw Sleeping Beauty and had to go see her! We've met her before but who cares, right?

Of course, I wanted to take a picture with her too!

Im a stay at home mom whose DH works many hours as a cop so Im usually the only one to take care of the girls when they are sick which means I get sick in some sort of way and I have to continue on b/c DH cant get time off. But due to the fact that we were only there for 3nights/4days I had to suck it up. Besides we'd have lost $, j/k! No I really wanted to go to the parks and I didnt want to let the girls down. So I chugged Pepto and tried to sleep when we'd go back to rest.
Thanks, Im a picture taker freak. The girls and DH are getting used to it though and this trip I'd say smile and they'd get it on the first pic so we could snap and go.

I just found your TR and I'm liking how you are writing, writing and writing. Sometimes it's just nice not to have to wait for a week or more to read an update, although I understand the reasons why. How suckish that you got sick! A cold would've been easier to handle than the pukes. YUCKY! Your girls are too cute, and I LOVE their Chuckies!!!!

Im a big procrastinator and if I dont write a little each morning and finish it then I will never finish it. Plus Im a stay-at-home mom and Im fortunate enough to have a few hours of quiet each day after I drop off one kid at school and busy the other kid for even just an hour while I type something up.

I wouldve rather had the cold than getting sick! But hey it helped me lose that last 10lbs!:rotfl2:

Thanks about the girls! I love their chucks too, b/c they go with pretty much any little girls clothes and they're functional too. They go from dressy to casual. They have them in pink also!

Your daughter's reaction to riding Soarin for the first time was so cute! :) What a great Disney moment. ;)

The pictures of the Garden Festival are great!! :thumbsup2 Cannot wait to be there in a couple of weeks.

Really hoping your flu does not end up ruining your perfect Epcot day. Specially with ADR's for Le Cellier!

Its those moments that make you forget about your troubles and just enjoy where you are at.
Its really beautiful and they are everywhere!
I will write more on Monday. Im doing a ride-along with my DH tomorrow. We are going to be like Simon & Simon, LOL!:rotfl2:

So I got a little busy with the holiday weekend and Easter Party @ Kendra's school. You know how it is. On Friday my mom offered to take the girls for the night so DHand I could have a date night. Much needed!! We didnt do much besides walk the mall and get some chinese(its a family run restaurant and its THE BEST!!). Oh and he bought me the new Twilight Saga Official Guide, just because! I wouldnt have cared what we did just as long it was just us and no kids at that moment. Times like these remind me of when we first started dating. We'd people watch and just enjoy being with each other. Hard to do now that we have 2 kids.

The next day I got to do a ride-along with DH (he's a police officer for the city). It was fun to ride along with him and see him do his job. Im kind of glad it was a slow day, I dont think I could handle the "excitement" if you know what I mean. It was funny to see people's reactions to having a normal dressed woman riding with a cop. LOL! :cool1:

Then it was time for the kiddos to come home and make cupcakes for Easter. Here's what I made with some help from the girls.

Easter Baskets w/m&m eggs! All edible except of course for the cupcake liner.

Then Easter morning arrived, and we decided this year to hide a basket w/a few things in it for the girls to hide. The girls know we do the egg hunt later at a friend's house .

Here's the girls when they found the basket (they look so cute when they wake up!)

easter.jpg

Finally the exciting part of the day for all of us. Time to head to my friend's house where she has the best egg hunts! This year she went all out. I will get to that. Here's a pic we took before we left home.

easter1.jpg

We then got to my friend's and she had gone all out! There were only 5 kids there and she got 1300 eggs for the kids to hunt! 1300!!!! Plus if you got a extra shiny egg there was a surprise inside. The girls got 5 of those eggs and got $5 total. They were so happy!

Here are a few pics from her house:

This is Kendra begging for some water after playing. It was only 85 that day! Only!!

easter3.jpg

This is Piper w/her bunny face on. Too Cute!

easter4.jpg

We all had an awesome time. The girls got to get 4 baskets full of eggs and DH and I got to eat the awesome food that my friend always makes. She's a great hostess and makes the BEST food at every get-together!

The next day I had to make cupcakes for Kendra's snack at school and was inspired by the saying, April Showers bring May Flowers.

So I call these cupcakes, May Flowers. The kids ended up loving them. I think you will see why!

Anyways, I hope ya'll had a nice holiday weekend and hope the kids arent too hyped up on sugar from all the candy. I will write more about our trip tomorrow. Take care!:lovestruc

Great pic of your DD's and marie from aristocats...looks like they were having a fun day

Awesome looking cupcakes you made and that sure was alot of easter eggs your freind put out for just 5 kids but I guess that way they get a good haul of eggs for each of them and only 85 that day. I wish it was 85 on easter here, it was crappy and rainy here...anyways take care and can't wait to read more of your TR.

Thanks about the cupcakes. My friend is very generous with her girls and makes sure everythings over the top. Hey, we dont mind! Its nice that she makes each holiday awesome.
85 is too hot for me. But we are going to get hotter and hotter. If I could live in the north during the summer that would be great. Im from MI originally and I have never adjusted to this heat. DH loves it!
