This can go for any park. I like riding in front on every ride, but Im usually always in the back. I only have luck getting front row on The Simpsons and The Cat in the Hat. Is there any way I can get front row besides asking? I wont do asking, because I might have to wait longer.

If you want front row for the headliner coasters, then you will wait longer. I know both Hulk and DC have a dedicated lines for front row, and yes, they take longer. I don't recall about HRRR. This is true at many theme and amusement parks.

If you won't ask, then it'll obviously be up to chance. If you ask at a non-headliner ride, such as ROTM for instance, the worst that would happen is you have to wait for the next car 2 minutes out. Not a big deal if you waited just 20 minutes or more.

Asking would be your best bet...just to make sure you get the front row...otherwise it may not happen.

I just tell the person manning the gate or whatever it is I want to ride in the front. It has never been a problem. I usually just step aside and let that ride go and am queded up for the next ride. Of course if the ride has a front seat line and you want front seats, you have to wait in that line. In those cases, I just get as close to the front as I can.

This is what we do.

We just ask and they normally have you step aside and put you in front on the next cart. Only a few times I have been refused. As for the ride that have a front row line you have to wait in that line.:thumbsup2

I have done this at Disney parks also. With my son just starting out on roller coasters a few years ago I wanted him to see what was going on.

You can't ask for the front row on The Simpsons. There are only two rows and it is every man for himself as far as who sits where.

Row selection on the Simpsons is based on height. The TMs ask the taller folks to sit in a certain row. Oddly, even though I've ridden it twice and am tall, I don't remember which row.

You're supposed to sit in the front row if you're tall so you don't bang your head. So if you're grouped with someone who is tall, your ride won't be very good because you'll be staring at their head the whole time.

I went yesterday, and I asked on MIB if I could get fron row and they let me. Also, for the first time on The Simpsons I got back row, since a bunch of brazilin girls hurdled up at the door just to get front row. I got a sore back from sitting in the back, and I banged my head when getting in the vehicle! Any tips to get front row on The Simpsons, because I know people wont give up their front row seats.

I don't understand why you would want or need the front row on Simpsons, it's not even a rollercoaster. You look up/forward to a big screen in front of you so what difference does the first or second row of the car make :confused3?

if you have a taller person sitting in the front row ahead of you, it will block your view of the screen.

been there, down that.

Yup, and with a partially blocked view the tendancy for motion sickness is even higher.

Also, tall people have a tough time in the back row of Simpsons because the vehicle is low.

For the Simpson's I would see where I was placed in the row. At the end we got the back row and if we were in front of the row we got the front row. The ride only holds 8 people. If being in the front is important to you just make sure you are in the front of the line and stand by the door.

Also for the Simpson's our last ride we put way on the top level all the way towards the end on the view wasn't the best since you were able to see where the screen ended and we couldn't really see the botton half of the screen in some scenes depending on the position of the ride. We rode it about 8 to 10 times so the one time having a not so great view wasn't a biggie.

The seating arrangements for The Simpsons always stress me out. Last time we were there, there was this woman who insisted her incredibly tall husband sit directly in front of me (a short 14 year old girl at the time) instead of in front of my dad, who easily could have seen around him. After the ride, the woman yelled at me for 'ruining the ride' for her husband, while the husband simultaneously apologized to my dad for his wife's behavior :lmao:

I think it's fine that taller people sit in the front (who wants to bump their head on vacation?), but I thought I would share my story :)

I feel sorry for people behind me on Simpsons due to me being tall. But at the same time Universal should have redesigned the back row to accommodate taller people when they changed over from Back To The Future. :thumbsup2

I have been in tha back row and it's no fun when your tall.:lmao:
