How can I do Universal without spending a fortune?

Yes AAA gives you discount in the restaurants at C/W and the parks with the exception of Bubbas and emerils.

Here at Bubba's house, I will gladly accept your AAA discount.....

By the way, there are 7 of us, so we will need 2 rooms. I assume 2 rooms are cheaper than one 2 bdrm suite that holds 7? That's what the agent was giving me a quote on (the 2 bdrm).

Yes...2 rooms should be cheaper than 2 bedroom suite... :thumbsup2

I'm not sure what your family structure is but we have 2 adults, 15 yr, 14 yr, 12 yr and 3 yr. When we go to Pop in Dec for 9 nights with the dining plan and hoppers with the 40 % off code we are paying about 4700 ! I want to know how you saved 1500 !!!!!

As for US. We have 2 rooms book at RPR for 5 nights that cost 805.00 per room with taxes. We decided not to use the dining plan since we just tried it and the days the park closes at 6 it isn't worth it to us and it closes every day at 6 while we are there.

We have the APH rate. We bought 2 AP for the adults since we were going twice and then the 7 day tickets for the 4 kids (85 plus taxes each).

It saved us money to get the AP since we saved so much on the rooms that way. But I did have to keep checking to find the cheaper rates.

I never checked the 2 bd suites but I suspect they are alot more than 2 separate rooms since it's a suite.
