I need my room key to get into the early entry park, right? I might be adding days to my trip this May at a Disney value resort. Can I check out, yet still hit the early entry. Also, do I need to do anything to check out? Can I just call when my room is empty?

We'll probably leave straight from the park to get to the airport - I don't want to rely on a bus to get back to my car.

When you check in at your resort, they should ask you if you want early check out. This means that they will just slide the bill under your door around 6am. You can keep your key if you need it to get into the park. It should still be active until at least 11am.

If you choose express checkout..leaving a credit card so you do not have to check out in person..your bill is delivered before 8am. You room key is good until midnight the day you check out.

If you need to leave for the parks, before your bill is received, you can always stop by the front desk to get a copy, to make sure everything is correct, or request that a copy be mailed to you after you get home. If you do that, you will have to take care of any disputes over the phone.

Good luck!

We always use Express checkout. Love it! They always let you keep your resort keys. The electronic code is reprogrammed for each room between guests (supposedly, anyway) :D

That Resort Parking pass will still get you free parking at the Theme Parks after you have checked out, as well. We usually stop by AK for a while after we check out, to get in a last couple of hours of Disney before driving home.

Express check-out is available to guest with American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, Diners Club, JCB or Disney Credit Card. The morning of your departure, they will deliver a copy of your account to you. You are not required to return to the Front desk. But don't count on it being there at 6:00a.m.

You don't turn your Restore I.D. (room key) as you will have charging privileges on it you keep it, then you will be able to have access to parks for EMH. If when you are ready to leave and your bill hasn't arrived you can stop by the front desk for a copy.

As a Resort Guest you will have all your privileges until 12:00 mid-night of the your departure date.

Other then MK you can drive straight to the Park early and park right up front you will be given a Resort Parking Pass for your car (when you arrive) that will allow you to park at no charge. At the MK you may also drive, but will have to go to TTC then catch the Resort Monorail over to the Park.

Thanks again to all you posters. Once again the DISboards come through with answers to any question I can think up.

trstno1, I hope you have a fantastic trip!! :D

Why would you need to "be given a Resort Parking Pass for your car (when you arrive) that will allow you to park at no charge"??
You would still have your Resort Parking Pass from when you stayed at the WDW resort. I must be missing something here.

I usually stop by the front desk in the evening before check-out day and request a copy of my account up to that point. Then, if I see any discrepancies, I can get them sorted out then.

As another poster replied we stop by the front desk the night before to check the bill. We have only gotten the bill on the door once. We leave too early and I like to know that everything is OK before I leave WDW.

The express check out bill is ususally at your door by 5:30 to 6:00 am. If not go to the front desk for copy of your bill:crazy:

In all the times I have been to CBR it has never been on the door between 5:30 and 6:00. When I have checked out later it was there around 9 AM.

Just get a copy of the bill the night before.

I find that interesting, I always get up at 5am to get ready to leave the resort. The bill is always under the door when I get out of the shower. This happens at all the resorts we stay at.:hyper:

The only time the bill has never not been under our door or on our doorknob was at Fort Wilderness this summer. They put them on the car there, but it didn't come until almost 9 a.m. and after I had called.
