Can anyone who's a Universal regular at this time of year (or who is 'in the know'), give me an idea of how busy Universal and IOA will be on these dates?

I'm trying to figure out if we should shift our dates at Universal (plan is for Jan 9, 10 & 11 a.t.m.), but with the rumoured Disney package start date as 4 Jan, should we reconsider? Just how bad will the crowds be after New Years?

We need UOG or TGM ratings for Universal!!!! This decision would be soooo much easier then!

Thanks for the info. Turns out we're keeping our existing plans as the WDW 'deal' isn't the most frugal way for us to go anyway.

But it is good to know that crowds are low from 2 Jan onwards. Means we can mix up our Universal days a bit, and maybe spend a few more 'partial days' there to make the most of the 7 day ticket.

Cheers.

I have the option of two different weeks:

Dec 22-28
OR
Dec 29-Jan 4

Which week do you think will be the least crowded? We will be using the 7 day pass including wet and wild. We plan on going to IOA twice, US twice and wet and wild twice in the week.

Any thoughts would be really great.

Both weeks are going to have very busy days so take your pick. The insanely busy days are 12/26 - 1/1 so you are cutting it right down the middle.
