How Busy on Thanksgiving and day after?

We are planning to go to DL and DCA on Thanksgiving and the day after this year. What should we expect crowd wise? We are not planning on having a Thanksgiving dinner at the parks because we will do that with family the day before. Anything else I should know about this timeframe?

It is BUSY! Set up your mobile orders for lunch or dinner early or have dining reservations. Do NOT think that you can just do walkup dining ANYWHERE (downtown disney or in the parks)

It is busy. I have been twice for Thanksgiving and the Friday after. Friday is worse. Pack your patience and get Genie+.

I haven't visited for Thanksgiving since pre COVID years, but back when we did do Thanksgiving at DL (most recently 2018), we found the day before and day of Thanksgiving to be quite pleasant. The day after Thanksgiving, however, was pretty packed with people.
