How busy is Universal the 2nd week of December?

We will be spending a day at Universal before we move onto all the Disney parks. How busy is Universal the 2nd week of December? Equal to Disney World or a little less busy?

It's a perfect time to go.

we went 2nd week on dec 2014. it was dead! we rode everything multiple times. the only time we waited in line was to sit in the front of the hulk ride....maybe 15-20 mins. i would still do gringots and hogwarts first thing in the morning tho.

It's our favorite time of the year to go to Universal. All of the Christmas fun and very low crowd levels.

Crowds should be very pleasant. We will be there at that time as well. It's the 2nd time for us that week. Pre Christmas rush is a great time to visit Orlando.

The first two weeks in December are probably the best time all year to go. Low crowds, usually good mild weather, and Christmas festivities are going. Thanksgiving week and the week before and especially after Christmas are some of the worst weeks to go. First weekend through second weekend of December, best of the year.

When you all are referring to the 2nd week of December, do you mean December 6-12 or 13-19? This will be our first time there and are hoping to make the best of it.

I will be visiting Universal for the first time since 1992 Dec 3rd and 4th, and I am hoping crowds will be light Due to medical issues, I can't do the coasters, so I would think 2 days is plenty. I was actually wondering if maybe 1 1/2 days would be enough... We are mainly interested in the HP attractions. I have pretty much ruled out purchasing express passes since most HP things are excluded.
