I have experienced moderate crowds -- maybe 6/10.

For our early December trip, we experienced low-ish crowds on weekdays, heavier crowds on the weekend (to be expected).

I've gone that week many times, crowds aren't bad. One thing to watch for is days that there is a Christmas party at MK. I've found those are perfect days to go in the morning & afternoon, people avoid it because of the early close. On the other hand, non-party days are very crowded. It's also Pop Warner week, you will see small groups of players/cheerleaders around the park. DHS usually closes early on Wednesday for their private party. Saturday night at Epcot is usually crowded.
