How busy is MCO on Tuesdays?

Just wondering how busy MCO is on a Tuesday ... we have a 2:00PM flight and were planning to get to the airport at 12:00PM. Is that enough time or should get there even earlier?

YOu should be just fine.

That would be a good amount of time. The security line may look long but they have several people checking boarding passes and id's.

We always allow some time to shop the stores at the airport before you go through security. Since we usually don't get to Universal any more we like to look through their gift store.

I don't know... but I can tell you that the Tuesday after Thanksgiving was the busiest I have EVER seen MCO! I've taken 3 trips (flying into/out of MCO each time) this past year and had never arrived nor left on a Tuesday. We arrived around 4:45pm to leave at 6:30 flight and BARELY made it through the long curbside checkin and super long security check lines right when they were boarding our flight! Wow....

I assume that had to do with Thanksgiving? But I figured it would be busier on Sunday.... people returning right before Monday school/work. Guess everyone else decided to leave on Tuesday afternoon instead- like we did! LOL

We just came through there today, not busy at all. We arrived 1 hr 10 mins before flight, no problems through security, very efficient, yet still very good checking.
