how busy is labor day weekend

I see our dates listed as value time. How busy is labor day weekend? I see the AP is blocked out sat and sun but not mon. Is that because of crowds or because of the half marathon race?

I think it's a combination of both. I went last year and enjoyed it, and may do it again this year. Be prepared for heavy crowds which may or may not materialize.

So would they run Fantasmic and the fireworks and the electrical parade, or will they run entertainment like its a slow season? I see they updated the entertainment schedule recently through the end of August but still no hours for September.

F! and Fireworks run weekends all year long. I don't think DEP is running after Nightastic ends Aug. 23.

We wound up going there for the day on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend last year -- it was stunningly un-crowded at both parks. I had expected madness so we were pleasantly surprised.

WARNING!!! My whole family and a bunch of others will be there running the Disneyland Family Fun Run 5K on Saturday and My cousin and I will be running the Disneyland Half Marathon on Sunday along with 14,000 other people.

Well, my birthday is on Saturday Sept 5th so I'm sure thousands of people will show up to wish me a happy birthday! The Haunted Mansion special even is on 09/09/09 also so that may draw a few more people too. I hope it's not too crazy. I'll be there 9/5 -9/10 to celebrate my b'day and the haunted Mansion's b'day.

we took dd on her first DL trip two years ago on labor day weekend.
i was shocked at how it was NOT crowded! it was a last minute trip, we had no idea about the marathon, but luckily it didn't seem to matter by the time we made it over to the park (9-10am).

however, having said that it was quite humid too.
