My friend's are going to WDW ealry June. My friends DH asked my advice on the trip & (they are staying at POP) I mentioned that with the gay days & SW weekend I thought it would be somewhat crowded. He laughed at me & said "it won't be crowded this early in the summer". Rather than debate the point anyone care to comment & then i can show him your posts? I haven't been in June so I don't have first hand experience.

Your friend is wrong. It can be very crowded in early June. The best bet is, as always, get to the parks at opening and hit the big rides first.

I think that your friend is going to be very surprised.

I haven't been in June or July* (I'm not a masochist), but most of June/July/August is 7, 8, and 9 crowd levels according to the Unofficial Guide, and early June is 7 and 8, so I would say it will be crowded. They'd better make a plan and use fastpass, or they'll spend half the day in queues.

*Well, not since '73

:rotfl: It can be very busy this time. Gaydays is a very busy event which starts after Memorial day thru June 4th. MK will close to capacity that Saturday. They have events in all of the parks during this time. I believe you can find out more info on the website.

If they go after June 4th then they will just have to deal with the summer crowds as MANY southern schools and mostly all Florida schools are out by this time so that will definitely be a factor...early summer is in May in Florida. :goodvibes

We've gone twice in the last few years during this time and now decided to make our last early spring/summer trip in late April/early May. I'd rather go in late August than go during this time. :rolleyes2 At least you're not dealing with the crowds, just the hurricanes... :confused3...

First week last year crowds where manageable, but it rained a lot.

Thanks, I tired to tell them but they got rather defensive so I just backed off (they did have other choices when to go) but hey, I tried right? It's still Disney no matter what but I am interested to see what they say when they return. Not crowded???....mmmmmmmm??? :confused3
