How Busy Is It In September????

Hi

How busy is it in September?

We have to change our date from June, coz of my husbands exams. Before we change the date we wanted to know how busy is it and is everything open. We will be leaving on the 19th for two weeks.

We already have changed our minds from christmas. It sounds as if it may be a little to chilly. What is the weather like in September?

Any advice would be great.

September is a quiet month from the week after Labor Day onwards ( Sept 2nd was Labor Day).

It is also still hot and the temp can rise into the 90's, lowest 65F! The rainfall average is lower than June but not as low as the cooler months.

Since it is quieter, you will get shorter park hours and a reduction in parades and fireworks.

We've been a couple of times in September and like it. The weather is still hot and the crowds are low which is great. The only problem is that it can be quite overcast and humid.

We find the weather to be less unsettled in October and so if you can push it out until then I'd go a couple of weeks later.

We were there this September- weather was still hot, but nice and breezy and some days a little overcast (perfect for Disney). The crowds were really low- we walked straight onto Pirates of the Caribbean and Small World and Big Thunder first thing in the morning, waited 10 mins for Buzz Lightyear, about 15 mins for Dumbo and about 10 minutes to see Mickey Mouse in Toon town. I can highly recommend Sept, and only for the fact that my little boy is starting school next Sept, I would be going again this year at that time.
