How busy is DW the closer to halloween????

We are trying to find a perfect time to go to the world this year that would accomodate the whole BIG family! The best time we are finding is october but it will be the end. I've heard it's busy during mnschp but I wondered just how busy. Is it only on halloween itself or the whole week before? I appreciate your input! Thanks!!
