I want to celebrate my DS birthday at Chef Mickeys. If we eat at around 7:30 will things get too busy for the kids (DD too) to have much interaction with the characters?

We had 7:10PM dinner reservations and had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated, but it seems to clear out once we had our table without big waits for the buffet. The characters were the best and spent lot of time with the kids. It was my favorite place of the trip.

We had a late dinner reservation (dont remember maybe closer to 8) at Chef Mickey's for my sons birthday. I didnt want it late but thats all they had and my son wanted CM for his birthday. It was still crowded but as mentioned above the buffet line was not as long as it usually is. Don't worry about the attention, my son got PLENTY of attention being that was his birthday. He recieved a plastic place mat with a picture of the characters and their signature on it. They also brought him a HUGE cupcake!! I don't care for CM's food too much but they are AWESOME for celebrations. Have fun!

People eat at Chef Mickeys till 9:30 or 10pm for dinner.

Every 20 minutes the characters parade around and sing/make noise/etc.

The food is plentyful - always being replace with new items.
The staff must eat after hours or they donate the extra food to a local food pantry.
There is so much food to select from.

Plus your son will enjoy the very large make your own sundae bar with lots of fix'ins to go on the chocolate, vanila or swirl softserve ice cream.

ENJOY ! :thumbsup2
