hi, does anyone have any advice on how busy it is likely to be the week of the 20th june? i may be wrong but dont think there are any local holidays started then so would this be a good time to go?

Schools will be over by then in Italy and so it's likely more visitors from here will be there but anyway my work mate and her family were in DLRP last year around that date in June and they had a wonderful time :goodvibes

On the high side of crowd levels. I would say an average of a 7 out of 10

thanks for your replies, had thought it'd be a lot quieter before the summer season actually starts, probably not so! can also go the week before for same price, the 14th so might be little less busy then?

It is difficult to know isn't - my advice would always be avoid school holidays if you can (we can't sadly due to having a child at school)!

Here is the sticky link (from the top under useful info) about school holidays - have a look at a few to get an idea.

The week starting the 11th will be a good one as the UK have had their half term, Italy and Spain don't start their summer hols until the following week and France are not off until the 5th of July.

We've got no public holidays either in June they are all in May this year :goodvibes

We are going on 17th June and having gone in mid January last year I think we are gonna find the 'crowds' a bit of a shock! :lmao: It is going to have to be a very well planned out 2 days!

The Scottish schools finish at the end of June.

Our local high schools have 'activites week' in the final week of June where the pupils take part in lots of different things, including school trips. Abbey, my DD, will be visiting France that week and a day trip, including stay at the Kyriad, is planned for DLP :thumbsup2 Due to this, I know a lot of people start their holidays during this last week, but I don't think it will increase park numbers by too much.

We went around that time in 2009 - you can get an idea of crowds if you look at my TR in my signature. You'll also benefit from the 20th anniversary later opening times :thumbsup2

thanks for all your replys, appreciate them! after taking a chance and booking flights for 13th, will have nearly a week though and not our first visit so hopefully shouldnt be a problem managing the crowds!! :):)
