How busy are the parks next week?

I am trying for a last minute trip to the World. How busy is it? I know it is correlating with Spring Break for some people, but wondering how many people. Has anyone been at this time of the year? TIA.

From now until after Easter, it will be VERY busy! It was even starting a couple of weeks ago.

I'd go with very busy as well. I'm in Fla, our kids are on vacation this week, but it's not uniform all over the state. From here until the week after Easter is busy I think.

Most of Georgia is on Spring Break next week and most are heading to Disney and Universal. After reading other posts, it looks like it may be worse than ever. I hope we have nice weather because I'm just going to opt for the pool if it's too crowded!

I echo doubletroublemom, we check in at YC on Monday, depart on Saturday. DH actually suggested adding the extra day (Friday) due to the crowds. The wildest I witnessed was two years ago in April, when we wound up offsite (before I found this board and discovered codes and discounts). The parking lot was an absolute nightmare! All of GA starts afterschool this Friday, so I imagine I-75 will be bumper to bumper. I actually was in Atlanta today at the GA aquarium, I think it had Disney beat for crowds. I swear there were more people there than on Main Street USA at 2PM on Christmas Day.

Yes, I75 and the Florida Turnpike should be a nightmare this weekend and next! Have a great trip.

that you're all WRONG! EMH hours are not extended at all next week and if crowds were going to be that bad, wouldn't they have extended the EHM like they have around Easter?
