How big is an AKL fridge?

We are in a standard room at AKL and I hear we will have a refrigerator. I would like to order groceries to be delivered and am wondering how much I will be able to fit into the fridge? Is it big enough for a gallon of milk, or would it be better to order 2 half gallons? Once I have the milk in there, how much more will fit in? I would like to get OJ and some yogurt as well.

It was a mini fridge that you will see in like a dorm room. I am not sure if it would hold a gallon of milk, but I am sure you could get a few things in there. Maybe a 1/2 gallon of milk, some soda and yogurt would fit.

My concern for you would be getting all this food/milk to your room and finding it won't fit and you will be stuck pouring it out. Which know would be frustrating. I guess I would order or pack light to see what will fit and you can always get more. The smaller cartons of milk would fit best.

I agree. Maybe a quart of milk, a few yogurts, etc. It's not big at all.

They are the dorm size. Little things. I seriously doubt you'd get a gallon of milk in there and wonder about a half-gallon. When we went with kids, we stopped and got little milks (for a nice chunk of change) at the hotel store when we needed them. You can fit a few little milks, a few cans of pop and a few cans of beer in there, I know that much.

I'd say get quart of milk or two quarts because they are pretty small. I'd be scared to try a half gallon because you might be stuck with nothing to do with it.

How do you order groceries to your room? Also, since the Villas are opening soon, will there be a store on site right there at AKL that sells milk? We usually only have breakfast in our room and milk would be great to have on hand.

We bought half gallon of milk at the store in AKL and it fit ok. It wasn't perfect, but it fit. It sure does fit alot of Zebra domes though.

We are ordering from www.gardengrocer.com. I have not ordered from them in the past, but I have read good things about them on these boards.
