How bad is the terminal at 10:30?

Is there a rush at 10:30 to get in the terminal or is it not so bad?

On our first cruise in 2003, we were there a little after 10:30 and there was hardly anyone there. I know the bus transfers from WDW don't leave first thing in the morning.

Overall, there terminal is pretty orderly throughout the process. They usually have quite a few people there to check cruisers in, so that goes pretty fast. Some like to get there early in order to get in line. The main advantage to this (unless you have a Concierge-type suite, where it's not necessary) is being able to book things like Palo reservations and other such things.

It should be virtually deserted around 10:30 a.m. It gets crowded more quickly for the 7-day cruises than the shorter trips, but there generally isn't a rush when it opens. Remember, the airport and resort buses arrive later.

We've been on two cruises in the past month, and drove to the terminal. Both times they opened it at 10:30, and there was virtually no crowd. No lines for check-in, and we had plenty of time to roam around the terminal before getting in line. In fact, boarded before the rush of the Disney and airport crowd. Same thing about a year ago. If there are ever crowds at the terminal we've never seen them!
