Everyone seems to ship bottled water.

Do most people drink tap water or go with bottled?

We have shipped water and I am particular as far as taste goes. I never tasted the hotel water, mainly because we had the bottles. We swear by getting the free ice water in the parks, available at all CS restaurants for the convenience and price, of course. I do bring in flavor mix ins to add taste, but I don't always use them...they're just for variety. The ice water is filtered and served in a medium size soda cup with a lid and a straw and there is no purchase necessary. I no longer bring in the bottles to the park because they don't stay cold and they are a hassle to carry.

Oh wow! I didn't know that you could get a cup on water free of charge. That is good to know. We have always just purchased bottled water in the past. Not this time though! Thanks for the info!

We prefer buying bottle water or getting free ice water.

The water out of fountains has a strange taste. I want to call it a metallic taste but I don't think that's it.

I remember I had the same issue when I was young and the parents moved us to MN. The water tasted funny until we got used to it.

I guess it's all in what you are used to. I'm sure if I drank FL water alot it probably wouldn't bother me.

The tap water is nasty -- the drier the weather, the nastier the water.

I bring the Crystal Light type single packets to mix in with it to make it drinkable.

Tap water in Florida has a sulfur taste to it, and if you have a sensitive Gi system it can give you diarrhea.I can't drink the tap water.

Nope, I've lived in FL for 6 years and I still think the water out of the tap is icky. We will only drink bottled or filtered water at home. When I'm in WDW I usually use the little Crystal Light packets.

Our last trip I brought a Britta pitcher and refilled bottles.

Same here (except not six years)! Florida water has a very strong taste... almost dry. We always drink bottled water. Cannot stand tap.

It's fine if you like the smell & taste of sulfur. Every time I shower I feel like I need another one to really get clean...without sulfur.

Not only does the water taste bad........it smells bad. It made our laundry smell like the water. I had to re wash everything when we came home. Even with the Crystal Lite/Cool-aid packs..... I could still taste the sulfer taste. I'm seriously picky though so maybe it's just me.

there is a distinctive taste to the water at disney - and all of FL from what i have heard. dh and i don't care for it so we only use bottled water when we are down there. there's nothing actually wrong with the water and it's perfectly safe to drink (or so i've been told) but if you are particular about the taste of your water, i'd go with bottled.

(i do drink tap water at home with no problem but there are some towns that i can't tolerate.)

It doesn't taste as bad as our city water. We always just ask for a free cup of ice water. It is so important to stay hydrated.

However, I have a hard time getting DS to drink plain water, so I pack the single serve Kool-aid packets. They are easy and fit into pockets.

I drink it on every trip, plus make ice with it. No problem for me.

I think it tastes disgusting! It tastes like swamp water!
I made the mistake ONE time of not ordering water...never again. I always order water and have it delivered to the hotel.

We'll be doing bottle water. The tap water is also bad where we live so we're just used to always having bottled.

We just got back from Pop Century last night. The water coming from the tap and the sprinklers on property smelled terrible. I couldn't imagine drinking it, personally.

My last trip I asked for ice a few times from the CS and had no problem geting it, in fact, one lovely young lady asked me if I wanted a large or small cup of ice...very kind lady..
