How bad is deck 5 noise?

checking availability for a kind of last minute thanksgiving trip. Deck 5 is the only one with enough rooms available for our group. How bad is the noise? The description said some of the rooms were over the theater? Is it average hotel bad, or worse? I realize noise level is a subjective thing, but opinions and experiences would be helpful.

We stayed in 5546 last year and loved it. Never dealt with noise at all. We booked on deck 5 again for sept 2018

We stayed on Deck 5 once, we loved it. Never once disturbed by noise.
We had the grandkids on that cruise, it was nice and close to clubs.

We were on Deck 5 on the Wonder, over the WDT. Cars 2 PremEared during our cruise and they showed it at midnight in the WDT. It was horrible. Sounded like the speakers were in our floor (they probably were). The rest of the week was fine. Usually WDT events are done before bed time. Just be aware of any special late events if you are above the theater. The halls were very quiet that far forward. It's a nice location unless WDT is used late.

We stayed on deck 5 on the Magic. We were in the forward section and never heard noise. It was a great location and we would book this deck again. If you have kids, it is very handy to the kids clubs and the lobby.

I had a room on deck 5 near the theater area and the only time I heard anything was a premier of a movie at midnight. As a light sleeper I was surprised I didn't hear more noise but the movie was the only time.

Deck 5 is our favorite. We have never experienced any noise.

We could hear the shows when we were fprward, but they were very muted. Definitely quieter than the teens shouting at each other as they went to the Edge inside entrance.
