How bad are the crowds after Easter?

Hi

Can anyone tell me how busy the parks will be after Easter?

Easter Sunday next year is 27 March and we would be arriving Tuesday 5th April for 2 weeks.

I would really appreciate any advice on visiting during this period.

Our family went a couple of years ago from April 9 - 13. The lines were very large. Most popular attractions had waits of 90 minutes. But if you do the early magic hour and use fastpass....you should be able to do everything. Especially with two weeks Have a great time!

We just returned 4/17 - 4/25. We were told that the crowds had gone down considerably but they were still big - especially at the MK. Big crowds, but still bearable with fast pass. (many people still don't know to use it)


The weather was absolutely gorgeous!!! Blue skies, sunshine and 80's all week. We will be back again next year.

I think we can put up with the lines to get the better weather. We were originally thinking of going February, but the weather being a bit unpredictable is what changed my mind.

we were there a couple days before Easter and 4 days after and it was busy but we are morning people so we did early entry and made good use of fastpass and we had no problems.

Just returned-we were there April 9 (Good Friday) through to the 18th. Crowds were pretty big-the worst were MK (we went on the Thursday following Easter - waits were 100 minutes-fastpasses were gone by 11:30am). We didn't see nearly as much as we had on other trips. The second worst place was Typhoon Lagoon on the Wednesday. Line up at opening, mad rush for chairs, rude people taking other's belonging off chairs and taking them, crammed together like sardines. If we go over a holiday again we will definitely avoid the water parks.

Just got back last night-



Checked into POFQ on Sat 24th & requesred Bldg #5-
was told we were locked into Bldg #4 (turned out great as closest to bus stop) and that the hotel was at 98% that night.

Noticed the parking lot at POFQ wasn't as bad the next night.

Parks were busy but not horrible-
MGM on the 25th and TT lines were 45 min
Animal Kingdom on 26th and Safari was 40 min
MK on the 27th (rained for an hour in morning & cloudy all day)
was busy in Fantasy Land- Peter Pan has 65 min wait but
Splash Mountain was 20 min, BTMRR was 35 min wait
On the 28th went to Blizzard Beach & very busy !!
Probably because of cool weather day before.
Finally- yesterday only waited 25 min for Mission Space & FP Test Track though Test Track only 35 min wait.

If you go two weeks after Easter you will have no problems-

Thanks everyone for your comments. It sounds like we are going to have to get up out of our beds early to make the most of using Fastpass, though I think it will be worth it for the better weather compared to January.
