How are you redeeming Mypoints for Disney?

I have a ton of points, but haven't figured out how to make use of them for our Disney trip.

A couple of other ideas...

Every year we get my wife's Godparents each a $25 GC for Applebee's for Christmas. This year I used 6000 points to get two $25 GCs for free and then went to the Disney Store and bought 50 dollars worth of Disney Dollars for our trip next year with the money we saved.

We have also cashed in for two $25 dollar certificates for the Rain Forest Cafe (there are 2 located in WDW) I think those will cost your 3500 points.

We don't have to pay for our rooms, but we will be able to get our rental car for about half price this way! Thanks!

Sounds like a great way to use them. Just remember if you are cashing out for webbies, you'll need to purchase the card. You'll also need a cc when picking up the rental since most rental companies will not let you use debit cards when you p/u. Only when you return and pay for vehicle.

LOL! My Points is the only program that I don't use for Disney Trips...see I have this Target addiction that I must feed!!! LOL...I have tons of Target GC's though in case I need anything before a trip!!

I understand the Target addiction. I have the same thing.

I use Mypoints for a webcert and when I get my e-mail I print it out. I then take the print out to our local Disney store and use it just like a credit card. No need to buy the card. On the e-mail is a credit card like number they just type into the register (same if your credit card would not swipe). I have done this a couple times and always ask for the manager and explain about Mypoints and not wanting to buy the card and they do not seem to have a problem with it.

I've done this 4 times already and only once did a CM say she needed the card. I just went to another DS and the CM put it through without a problem. She even ewanted to know about this wonderful disney board and all about rewards programs. We had a very nice chat that day!!! It was fun!!!

LOve these boards and all the help I've gotten from them!!

I even leanred more how to run our computer!!!

I use mine for Webcertificates (I have the plastic card, bought it two years ago when it was 4.95) and I also get Rainforest.
