Going in November with in laws and our 3 children, all boys, ages 6, 7 and almost 3, a couple of which are picky eaters. Everyone in our group are pretty much meat and potato and some seafood, people. Here are the choices I have made for dinner each night on the MYW Dining plan. What do you think?

1. Cape May Cafe
2. Crystal Palace - character dinner
3. Whispering Canyon Cafe
4. Sci Fi
5. Planet Hollywood

We have done Chef Mickey's in the past, so I don't want to do it again. I would like to try 'Ohana but I am not sure if it would fit everyone's tastes.
Any suggestions??

:)

I thought Crystal Palace was very good. A great assortment of food for dinner. I am going again next week. Sci Fi was good as well. I enjoyed the steak sandwich. We are going to try to return here next week. 'Ohana's is yummy as well. We are going there again this trip.

I haven't been to the others yet.

1. Cape May Cafe - For Dinner: Love it. Always ate too much tho. Good selections of food I think.
2. Crystal Palace - character dinner - never been to dinner sorry.
3. Whispering Canyon Cafe - Okay. The skillet used to be really good but the last time we went it was just okay.
4. Sci Fi - as everyone've said, stick to the burgers, fries, onion rings and shakes. Some people like the desert too.
5. Planet Hollywood - never been.

I personally like Ohana. And since you said meat, seafood eaters. I'm sure they'll have something you all can eat.

Cape May and Crystal Palace and Sci Fi...good choices

Whispering Canyon, going next time, but sound good with your group, plus fun

Personally, I would trade Ohana's for Planet Hollywood. I've actually never really been to Planet Hollywood, but only because of the bad reviews it keeps getting. Even though there's no "potato's" at Ohana's, the meat and dessert are delicious and I think the sides are fine for the group and the kids would have a blast at the coconut races and hoola hooping.

I don't understand the negative reviews for Planet Hollywood. Our family has eaten there 4+ times, it is a must do for us every trip. We LOVE the atmosphere, and think the food is great. They have WONDERFUL deserts too.

Just got back sunday May 8th. We ate at Cape May Cafe for breakfast the last morning. It was terrific. Large buffet with lots of choices. Goofy, Minnie, Chip and Dale made the kids very happy. Very similiar to Chef Mickey's.

We also had lunch at Crystal Palace and I would go back in a minute. Pooh and friends circulate very often and the food was the best we had all week. Spoodles on the boardwalk was a close second.

Didn't visit any of the others you mentioned. Although, stay away from 50's Prrime time Cafe at MGM.

Hi Lesley,

I think it just goes to show that everyone should try what they like on the menu no matter what others say! Personally, after giving it several tries we decided we don't like PH, but I would say if you're in the mood for what they offer, give it a try! Everyone has different tastes in food!

I agree, I try not to listen to others oppinions on restaraunts until I've at least given them a shot unless they are OVERWHELMINGLY negative (like Tony's, we are skipping that this time).

Just realized I am over 500 posts YEAH!!!!!
