How are the restaurants for FDS?

Are they all good to eat at? do you need to be done eating by a certain time for the show? Or can you go to the show easily if you don't do dinner there?

I think most folks on here call it something else...I've seen it noted as F! Dining or F! DD....

(fds? interesting!)

Anyway...I've done the F! with H&V...and for a fam of 5 with picky (and then vegetarian) kids...I found it to be Great!

MM menu would not work for my kids....

For my DS18 Graduation Celebration in May...I got the F! dining...but thought other restaurants were offered... (think they used to be)

But the CM told me only H&V, MM and BD. Well - I went with BD...The menu def looks like something we will enjoy... we'd "done" H&V and MM - not happening...

I DO Recommend the F! dining pkg based on my experience...however my experience is usually limited to the MOST BUSY WDW weeks/months....

Fantasmic Dinner Show

I thought that is what it is called?

No, I don't think so, since it's not a "dinner show" at all (the way Hoop-de-Doo Revue or the Luau is). It's dinner, and then a show several hours later in a different place.

Most people around here seem to call it FDP for Fantasmic Dining Package. I looked up my reservation from when I did it last September, and it just called it "Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano Fantasmic at Disney's Hollywood StudiosTM"

Mama Melrose's had excellent food and bad service when I was there. We would eat there again, but only if we really wanted to see Fantasmic or were with someone else who did.

When we were there, our reservation was at 3:35pm and the show was at 8:30 pm. So even with the bad service, we were out by 6:00 pm and had plenty of time, even with getting to the show about 7:30 or 7:45.

It's called the Fantasmic Dining Package.

It's not available for dining after 5 PM, maybe 5:30 at the latest, so you should have plenty of time to eat and still get to the show.
