Question to recent park visitors ~ how have the mosquitos been around the parks in the evenings?

>>^..^<<

It's funny that you ask -- I have never had a problem with mosquitos on previous trips (and bugs usually love me!) But, this year on the beach at the Polynesian watching fireworks I got eaten alive. It was so bad that they chased me inside -- I counted 7 bites on the back of one leg. That was the only place they bothered me.

We were there at the end of June and we didn't get any bites and we are mosquito magnets. We stayed at the Polynesian and the day we arrived we passed a mosquito spray truck on its way out of the gate as we were going in. Maybe that is why we didn't see any. We also didn't see any or get any bites at the parks.

We were there in May this year and got eaten alive by deer flies. Never a problem before, but terrible this year. We leave again (next week) and I've packed some bug wipes. Thought they would be easier to pack.

We were there from 6/28 through 7/11 and have the bug bites to prove it!! I didn't enjoy sitting by the pool in the evenings because of all the biting bugs. Wish I would've packed the repellent.

They didn't seem to bother us while we were moving but if I was sitting by the pool or waiting for/watching a parade, they were all over me!

We stayed at WL 6/30 - 7/7 and didn't have any problems. Kids used the pool at night and also didn't have a problem. We were at one of the parks every night and not a single bite!
