Are they like a regular park day, or pretty much walk on? I remember reading once Disney has increased the amount of tickets they sell. Not surprising.

“Reduced” is a great way of putting it. However, during the period that OBB guests are allowed in before the park’s official close, they can be much longer than average - in spite of people lining up/ waiting for the festivities.

OBB is mostly locals. Since people have to go to work, and kids have to go to school, if you can make it until close, everything is a walk on - or close to it - in the final hour or so.

We went in late Oct 2022 (Tuesday the 25th) and had a great time with fairly low crowds, short/fast treat trails, uncrowded Villains Grove (barely a wait to get in, could stop and take photos and videos or just watch at the different sections), lots of nearly walk-on rides (Guardians 3x, Incredicoaster 3x, Webslingers 2x, etc.) As mentioned the mix-in time from 3-6pm was super crowded so be wary of that, otherwise it was fantastic once the party started. I did see some people report that the last 2 years haven't been quite as good as what we experienced, but not sure if that is subjective experience are if it varies a ton by what day you go or what. But if you haven't been I wouldn't hesitate to go.
