We are planning to go to each of them in the am and I am trying to decide whether to eat at the Waterpark or wait until we get back to the resort. We are staying at WL.

We are going in 10 days, and will be eating at Typhoon Lagoon. I will let you know as soon as we are back. We are staying at WL, our favorite, again! Roarng Forks, at WL, is really a great CS, btw. If Typhoon Lagoon looks that bad, we will just hold out until we get back to WL.

I have read negative reviews of the CS at Blizzard, the Lottawatta Lodge. People have said that burger buns were stale and tomatoes not ripe. We were planning on leaving before lunch.

Both CS restaurants are much like the standard CS's at the theme parks and resorts. Not as many choices, but we felt the food was fine at both.

If you are on the DDP and you want ice cream for dessert, ask that you be permitted to get it later. You'll just need to bring your receipt back later (any time until 6:00 -- even if you eat lunch at 11:30) for the ice cream.

We went to TL 2x and BB 1x during our stay last week. We always went for the extra magic hour in the morning and that worked out really well. In fact, we did all that we wanted to do by about 10:30. We ended up leaving before noon, but had lunch 2x. Especially after swimming in the wave pool at TL, you get hungry!!!

We've eaten at both wp's and the food is very similar to any other restaurant in the parks, good, some things better than others. I had a BBQ sandwich at TL and it was pretty good, also I like the fact that you can get ice cream for the desert on DDP and they let you come back and get it later on in the day. The Lottawatta Lodge has a big variety.

I had an excellent tuna salad at TL and a good hot dog at BB. If you do eat at the waterparks, try to eat early (11:00 a.m.) The CS places get very busy by noon.

Hi, we ate at the Lottawatta Lodge counter service at Blizzard Beach last week. I did not like the food at all. My son had the chicken wrap. The chicken was served cold, like it was just taken out of the refrigerator. I had the hamburger. It was cold, I don't think it was supposed to be, LOL, and it didn't have any taste. Fries were not good either. The ice cream that came as dessert, however, was pretty good.

When we got back to our hotel, WL, we were still hungry so we ate at the Roaring Forks counter service. I liked their food much better. The portions were huge and served hot.

Thought the donuts were good at the water parks, though. I would have a couple snacks at the water parks and eat somewhere else.

We like the chicken wrap & BBQ pork sandwich at TL's Leaning Palms. I also liked the kid's meal of grilled cheese pretzel, fries & drink. It comes in a pail with a shovel for playing in the sand--which we gave to a little kid (after we finished the food!). At BB's Lottawatta Lodge we've had an okay cheese pizza & side salad. The chili dogs are good. The mini-donuts at both parks are a definite favorite!!!
