How Are The Crowds The First Two Weeks In Aug.??

I have always avoided Aug. at all costs but may have to go sometime in the first too weeks!!

This is how I picture it;
100 degrees, humid & MOBBED! Am I correct?

We ALWAYS go during or around the first two weeks. It's not always so bad. It does get very hot during the day, but if you plan your indoor shows and activities wisely, you barely notice. Also, there's usually an afternoon shower to cool everything off. The crowds sometimes get really bad, but with planning you can avoid that too. If you end up going then, have a nice trip.

We went the first week of August last year and I didn't think it was that bad. Maybe I was just prepared for the worst. It was HOT but we knew it would be. We would head out early in the morning and were usually back at the pool by 3pm. Then we would head back to the parks around dinner-time. To me the worst part of the heat was first thing in the morning when you walked out of the hotel, the heat just hit you like a brick. It did rain everyday day. There were alot of people but we had no problems with waiting in lines, we used fastpass. The longest lines were for the buses to the resort. We are actually thinking of going again in August this year.
