HI,We are planning our second trip to Universal/IOA from September 27th to October 1st. We were wondering how the crowds were this time of year? The first time was the beginning of December and it did not seem crowded at all! We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel and loved it! This time we were thinking about staying at the Royal Pacific. We love the tropical theming...It sounds nice although I've read it's a longer walk to the parks.
Does the Royal Pacific Hotel tend to have alot more children than the Hard Rock? Just wondering because my niece was wondering if there will be other kids around? Thanks for your replies,Debbie

September crowds, with the exception of Labor Day weekend, are generally low. October crowds start picking up, mostly due to HHN.

We will be there too!! From the 26-29th...maybe we'll see you!!! Wear your lime green or bring your Mickey paint chips!

We stayed at the RPR last Sept. We did see plenty of kids but we havent stayed at the HRH yet (we will in Oct!!).
Crowds were light and we didnt have to use our room key for express entrance at several ride because there was no line to speak of.

We will be there from Sept. 24 - 28th. We are staying at the Royal Pacific. We haven't been back to Universal since they opened the new park and are very excited. You won't be able to miss us. We are the family that has the smiles and giggles that don't stop!! We just can't wait.
